Hello! My name is Anneliese DiCamillo, but I go by Anna, or in the case of my website, Anna-mation. I'm a third year Animation and Visual Effects student at Azusa Pacific University.
As for a brief history into who I am, I started my art journey by learning how to duplicate photos, or more photo realistic drawing based on building things up from basic shapes. Immediately I fell in love with drawing and being able to express my creativity in that way. From when I was about 5 to 18 years old, that was what I thought I would do, be a studio visual artist, but as I became more and more familiar with this art platform, I realized that with how much I love drawing, simply taking a photo and drawing it again was not as fulfilling as when I was able to create my own work.

As I was considering what may be a more fulfilling way to stay within the art world that allowed for me to be more creative, I absolutely fell in love with animation. Until I started learning at APU though, I had no experience in creating animated work, I just knew that it was what I wanted to do.
In the program we take two years doing both 2D and 3D animation, until in our third and fourth years we specialize in a certain emphasis. When I started with 2D animation, I knew that I was closer to my ultimate dream, but I knew that it wasn't necessarily what I wanted to spend a lifetime doing.
But once I really started delving into 3D animation, I absolutely fell in love, and I am so incredibly excited to make a career in creative storytelling since there is no limit to what we can't achieve on a screen.
Thank you for looking into me, I hope you enjoy what you see!
